Coppicing
Coppicing is one of the oldest forms of forestry, and provides a renewable source of wood. In the past, hazel poles and coppice products were an indispensable part of the rural economy. Working in the woods, primarily on hazel coppice management, is one of our favourite aspects of work.
We supply bean poles and pea sticks, etc., and cleft lathes for lathe and plaster construction work. We also supply traditional besom brooms.
